Mark has been a professional archaeologist since 1980, when he began a career-long emphasis on western Arctic and sub-Arctic archaeology and history.  He has worked in applied and academic cultural resource contexts throughout Alaska, in the U.S. Midwest and Northeast, and in Mongolia, India, and Iceland.  A Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA), Mark has conducted dozens of CRM projects in Alaska, and has numerous professional and lay publications and presentations on Alaskan heritage resource topics to his credit.  He has served as university teaching faculty in archaeology, anthropology, and history, and is a member of Alaskan, U.S., and international professional organizations.  Mark meets U.S. Secretary of Interior professional qualification standards for Archaeology, History, and Architectural History.

Doreen has been working with Alaskan cultural resources since 1992, when she joined the National Park Service at Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Landmark in Skagway.  Doreen meets U.S. Secretary of Interior professional qualification standards for Archaeology and History.
