Our staff
THRC staff includes social scientists and technical specialists who meet or exceed the U.S. Secretary of the Interior professional qualification standards for Archaeology, History, and Architectural History. Our senior staff are listed with the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA). We have over 50 years of cumulative experience in cultural resources throughout Alaska, with substantive applied and academic work done in rural, urban, and bush settings.
THRC staff maintain continuing education in topics and themes appropriate to working in Alaskan, cultural resource, and regulatory environments. Our emphasis on formal regulatory and technical training ensures that we maintain the requisite knowledge bases in regulatory compliance issues and thematic resource topics to get your work done effectively and efficiently. Since 2007, formal training has included NHPA Section 106, DOTA Section 4(f), NEPA, AHPA, mid-20th century architecture, cultural landscapes, ESRI GIS, and ANILCA.
